Some frequently asked questions we get….
-
Sustainable clothing uses less resources than traditionally used. It could be produced using renewable energy or from recycled materials. Circular clothing means that it has been designed and produced so that the materials retain their value once it’s life as that product is over.
-
Ethical clothing is made with considerations to a comfortable life. This not only includes living wages and access to unions, but also ensures that local waterways are not polluted. This doesn’t just encompass humans but animals as well.
-
Organic means something has been produced using fertilisers or herbicides that are created naturally and are not synthetic. This not only applies to fibres but the whole value chain and materials. Puff prints, for example, are not organic. Regenerative means that the focus is on improving soil health, and it also encompasses social aspects as well.
